Hangzhou Zhejiang University Shuangyuan Science and Technology Development Limited Company is established in 1999 March. Our company relies on its own forces to independently develop its technology, and is supported by scientific research institutes, colleges and universities. Our company is one of the companies in the international market which produce a great variety of automatic control systems for the pulp and paper industry.

After the company established, we pay more attentions on self-owned intellectual property rights. There are 6 departments belong to the company research institution, and they are Microwave Applications Department, Web Defects Inspection Department, Color Measuring Department, Electromagnetic Induction Heating Applications Department; Mechanics and Electronics Department, Information Process & Software Department. By these years, company developed eight greatest series products successfully, and each product is developed by ourselves.

The main products are QCS system(contains ash, coating, measuring), CD caliper measuring & control system(by electromagnetic induction heating technique ), web defects inspection system, paper dry control system(before coating, sizing, impressing and so on), CD basis weight control system, CD moisture control system, smooth control system, color/brightness measuring system, heat pump of steam supply control system, DCS system in pulp & paper industry. All the products are applied on many kinds of paper machines.

The company was selected as 'Zhejiang high-tech companies' by the science and technology department of Zhejiang province in 2000 November. There are 106 employees in the company, and 70% are engineers and managerial personnel. For satisfying the continuously extending business, the Shuangyuan office block (Shuangyuan headquarters) at 1418 Moganshan road in Hangzhou city with a gross floor area of 6 000 square meters is opening.
