(formerly known as Tianjin Haing Lim Sou Won Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. ) is a manufacture of disposable medical instruments and materials with products including disposable acupuncture needles, moxa, lancets, and blood glucose monitoring system. The company has been certified to conform to the quality management system standard ISO13485: 2003 and its main products have been certified by CE and FDA. The company has registred capital of US$1, 800, 000 with 320 employees, land occupation of 35, 351m² , and production premises of 7, 000m² . The company produces 600 million acupuncture needles annually and sales to more than 20 countries in Asian, European, African, and North American regions.

The company established Biosensor Research Center in Korea in 2004 recruiting bio-tech specialists from prestigious universities and institutes and started research and development of blood glucose monitoring products. The research team applied the latest technologies of bio-chemistry, nano, and semiconductor and made breakthrough in anti-interference of test sample, micro-dispencing, and precise silk printing. The unique biosensor developed by EMPECS has been patented by China State Intellectual Property Office.
