Although electrolytic chromium is used for many applications, our primary goal is to serve the super alloys and electronics industries, specifically Cr sputtering targets.
XECR is proud to be one of the world's few producers of high-purity electrolytic chromium metal currently producing high-purity electrolytic chromium metals using unique trivalent chromium cell perfected by XECR.
As a subsidiary of Luxi County Xinxing Smelt & Chemical Co., Ltd., XECR has been in chromium metal industry for nearly 10 years and now is a well-established source for high-purity electrolytic chromium metals: Chromic-Acid Electrolytic Process: In 2007, the High-Purity Electrolytic Chromium Metal 99.96% was awarded by the Science and Technology Department of Hunan Province as "a High-Tech Product of Hunan Province". Our production capacity is 500 tons/year. Ferrochrome Electrolytic Process: In 2013, XECR started to produce electrolytic chromium using ferrochrome as its raw material. This product has been considered standard chrome for superalloys applications for many decades. Our production capacity is 400 tons/year.
XECR 's manufacturing capabilities include: • High-Purity Electrolytic Chrome Flakes from Chromic Acid• Electrolytic Chrome Flakes from High Carbon Ferrochrome• Milling process for chrome powder• Vacuum-degassing for removal of O, N, and S from electrolytic chromium.
XECR has two in-house experts, Mr. Arash Kasaaian, PhD. And Mr. Sam, PhD. From the United States and has established a long-term technical cooperative relation with Central South University of China. Dr. Kasaaian has about 30 years of experience on electrolytic chromium. Dr. Sam has more than 15 years experience with vacuum degassing of Chromium metal. Central South University in Changsha, Hunan, is one of the top three metallurgical research universities in China.
