Zhangye Yatai Seeds is located in the middle section of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, China. It enjoys flat terrain at an average sea level of1200 meters with fertile soil and abundant water resources. Yearly sunshine hours of 3085, and annual rainfall of 100-118mm, 172 frost-free days, dry weather, fine natural isolation conditions, all of these contribute to particularly favorable production conditions for seeds.

Strong technical capability, sophisticated equipments

Now we have 58 technicians, including 5 agriculturists, 5 seed inspectors, associate examiners, and 45 senior technicians with years of experience in hybrid vegetable seed production, among which 10 are graduates of Agriculture Department of Hexi College. We have procured advanced testing facilities, I. E. 2 seed separators imported from USA, 3 specific weight separators, 4 light germination boxes, over 20 sets large or medium types of seed separating and testing instruments including moisture meters and scales, 300 thermal insulation steel structure greenhouses.
