Shandong Hualu Weiye New Plate Co., Ltd., co-established by a Taiwan investor in August 2006 with a planned investment of RMB 1.8 billion, is one of Shandong large private steel enterprises, with an area of 208, 000 square meters, and a plant building area of 135, 000 square meters.

The company mainly produces hot aluminum zinc silicon steel sheet, cold-rolled sheet, pickle sheet, color-coated sheet, annealed sheet, etc. It is planned to establish seven production lines including two production lines of hot aluminum zinc silicon steel sheet, two production lines of cold-rolled sheet, one production line of pickle sheet, and two production lines of color-coated sheet. The company adopts the advanced technology of Central Iron & Steel Research Institute (CISRI). The phase I project of No. 1 production line of hot aluminum zinc silicon steel sheet was started in December 2006, and went into operation in November 2007. No. 2 production line went into operation in October 2009. The two production lines will achieve an annual output of 600, 000 tons, sales revenue of RMB 3 billion, as well as profit and tax revenue of RMB 40.50 million.

The company plans to invest RMB 300 million, purchase two six-roller mills with an annual output of 500, 000 tons, establish one production line of pickle sheet with an annual output of 600, 000 tons, and achieve annual sales revenue of RMB 9.5 billion, as well as profit and tax revenue of RMB 12 million for the phase II project. In the phase III project, the company plans to invest RMB 300 million, establish one five-tandem mill production line with an annual output of 500, 000 tons of cold-rolled sheets, and realize annual sales revenue of RMB 1.8 billion, as well as tax and profit revenue of RMB 24.30 million. In the phase IV project, the company plans to invest RMB 90 million, and establish two color-coated sheet production lines with an annual output of 300, 000 tons.
