Founded in 1983, Xi Xia Hengchanglong Products Developing Station integrated with the production, distribution and foreign trade affairs, which is a civil comprehensive commercial trade enterprise. The main business includes the development, purchase, processing, supply and export for kinds of natural wild edible or officinal mushrooms, such as Lentinus edodes, Ganoderma lucidum, Polyporus umbellatus, Boletus edulis, Grifola frondosa, Agaricus bisporus, Coprinus comatus, and many special local products such as chestnus, Chinese goosebeery, dried persimmon, gingkgo, Chinese wood oil, honey as well as Chinese medicinal herbs such as cornus officinalis, Angelica, yam, honeysuckle, Forsythia, etc.

Xixia county is located in the hinterland of Funiu mountains about 800li which are proud of its fantastic nature scene and unique geological environments, and it gifted fruitful natural resources. With large area of mountain forests, there are around 800 kinds of wild mushrooms, edible fungi, special native products and 1328 kinds of Chinese medical herbs, which are given honorable alias as'natural treasure warehouse', the total potential amount is more than 60, 000 tons. Now we own over 380, 000 ha ( 3, 800 km2 ) collection base of natural wild organic foods for export.

The station has been always paying much attention on exploiting information, and has the capacity to preview the brighter future for the international organic agriculture products and to follow the international organic trends closely. As early as 1990, it has started to develop and conduct organic agriculture business in China. After many years of hard work, the station passed both international organic certifications according to NOP and EU from ECOCERT successfully in June, 2001. With the cooperation of two American import company for organic products, the station was granted international organic certifications successively from 2004 to 2006 by several certification bodies like BCS, ECOCERT and CERES. As the pioneer of international organic products in Xixia, the station has been the famous production, collection base for wild mushrooms and Chinese medicinal herbs in Xixia county and inaugurated a new situation for China organic agriculture products used for export.

Since its foundation, the station has also been striving on the research on physiological feature, officinal feature and nutritional value of kinds of rare edible mushrooms, Chinese medicinal herbs such as Ganoderma lucidum, Lentinulla edodes, Gastrodiae, Corni and so on. Furthermore due to the fact that the station commits itself to the perennial high-yield cultivation technical services and education for organic products especially fungus, fruit and medicine, which has made a great contribution for the normative production and the construction of scientific growth base as well as for the exploitation of Xixia local resources, the yearly sale quantity is more than 300 ton. The organic eco-green products are well sold not only in China but also exported overseas such as USA, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, HongKong of China, Taiwan of China, etc. Until the end of 2005, our company has attracted customers up to 1300, total amount export quantities of various of agriculture native products such as fungi, fruits, Chinese medicinal herbs has reached almost 30, 000 tons, which equal 3 billions RMB in total value.
