Xi'an Filter Metal Materials Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter called Xi'an Filter ) is a shareholding company, controlled by a listed company--Western Metal Materials Co., Ltd (WMM). Xi'an Filter established in 1993, which is one of the earliest R&D centre and factory for stainless steel fiber, fiber felt and sintered laminates in domestic market. The predecessor of Xi'an Filter is Powder Metallurgy Research Institute, one part of Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research(NIN).

Up to now, there are RMB 220 million assets in Xi'an Filter, in the factory of 34, 000 square meters. There are more than 220 employees on the job in Xi'an Filter, among them over 30% are professor, senior engineers and masters.

Xi'an Filter has undertaken two items of state key industrial projects, two items of State High-tech Research and Development Plan (863 Program). The metallic fiber and sintered elements have been awarded as the second prize for State Technological Progress and the first prize for Ministry Technological Progress. What's more, other two products were conferred as State Important New Products. Xi'an Filter has also got more than twenty patents and drafted one National Standard Specification for Stainless Steel Fiber Felt. It was identified as high-tech enterprises in 2009, and got ISO9001: 2008 quality system certification.

Xi'an Filter has imported a large quantity of advanced production and inspection equipments, to manufacture metallic fiber, sintered fiber felt, sintered laminates, and metallic filter elements. By the end of 2015, Xi'an Filter has already reached an annual capacity of 300 tons fiber and 300, 000 square meters sintered fiber felt and laminates, becoming the largest domestic industrialization base. Due to advanced quality, its products have been widely applied in filtration industry such as chemical fiber, petroleum, spinning, environment protection, automobile and electronics etc.

Based on its present industrialization of fiber and filter elements, Xi'an Filter will continuously develop and expand its industrial capacity by fully making use of the advanced technology, high quality professional employees and advanced equipments, so as to maintain its outstanding competitiveness and try the best to meet the requirements of the customer both at home and abroad.
