17AMB series thermal protector is the product that is sensitive to temperature & current. It is of advanced structure \small volume \sensitive in action \big contact capacity & long life. It protects against overheating & over-current in motor \pumps\electric & thermal appliance \lamp ballasts \transformers\heating blankets\automotive motor & common electric equipments.
17AMBOS series thermal protector is self-holded. Because of PTC's application, the thermal protector will reset after power off. It protects against overheating & over-current in motor \vacuum cleaner\stirrer\grinder\cropper\washing machine\pumps\electric & thermal appliance \lamp ballasts \transformers\heating blankets\automotive motor & common household electric equipments.

5 \operational principle:

A. Relay, 17AMB thermal protector is the core of bimetallic strip.
B. Current through the bimetallic element, when the current increases or surrounding

C. When cooled to a safe working temperature, contact automatically closed, restore electricity.
5.2\ 17AMBOS operational principle:
1\17AMB thermal protector and PTC operats in parallel, hen install load in series. PTC cannot be warm-up quickly when load runs normally.
2\when load runs abnormally the large current or high temperature will make the bimetal physical change which load to open the current. Correspondingly PTC goes high-resistance and high-temperature and load stops.
3/when power supply is cut off. PTC cools down. After 17AMB thermal protector cooling for certain time, the bimotal is self-reset. Then plug in load runs normally.
