Nixing pottery is guangxi osmanthus pottery made with special clay soil of qinzhou, guangxi, and is the essence of osmanthus pottery that comprehensively reflects the characteristics of pottery. For more than one thousand years, qinzhou potters continuously carry forward the essence of castilian pottery making, and thoroughly apply the five traditional pottery making techniques of "double mixing, natural plain, colorful kiln transformation, pottery carving creation and pottery modeling" to the artistic creation of pottery. In 1915, it won the gold medal in Panama international exposition and became one of the four famous ceramics in China.
