Watercare was formed in 2009 following the acquisition of Kemira (Yixing) Co., Ltd. Watercare has a long history in water treatment:

Watercare is the market leader in China for the researching, manufacturing and marketing & sales of water treatment chemicals. It manufactures inorganic & organic coagulants and flocculants. Watercare is the first company in China producing polyaluminum chloride in 1989 and de-coloring agent for waste water color removal in 1998. Watrecare product portfolios cover aluminum salts, iron salts, de-coloring agent, polydadmac, polyamine, biocides and polyacrylamide. Its products are widely used in water treatment for both municipalities and industries like pulp & paper, textiles, printing and dyeing, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, iron & steel, power station, desalination plant, sugar and oil & mining etc.

Since 2010, Watercare upgraded the production process of polydadmac and doubled its capacity to 10, 000 tons a year to meet the growing demand of polydadmac mainly from overseas market. Watercare at the end of 2010 signed a long term agreement with allyl chloride supplier in order to keep the raw material price fluctuation in check. Polydadmac is very effective in water clarification, removal of suspended solids, color & odor, and sludge dewatering. It is the main product of Watercare product portfolio and further expansion of that to 20, 000 tons per year is planned for the year of 2012.

Watercare is located in the state-level high-tech development zone _ China Yixing Industrial Park covering the production area of 54, 000 square meters with registered capital of USD 13.2 million. In 2011 Watercare set up the new production facilities in Suqian, Jiangsu Province to meet the growing demand of water treatment chemicals. Watercare adopts advanced production facilities and technology from Europe due to the joint venture history with Kemira, and manufactures products following ISO9002 quality standard. Meanwhile, its products also meet the environmental quality standard of ISO14000. The products are widely accepted by customers of both locally and abroad. 40% of our products are for export markets across the globe, like Asia, North America, South America, Middle East, Africa, Australia and Europe.
