Sichuan Meishan Hua-wei Bio. High-tech. Co., Ltd., established in 1994, is currently one of the largest production bases of distiller's yeast and protease in Asia. We have two production lines of distiller's yeast with an annual production capacity of 8, 800 tons; And two production lines of protease with an annual production capacity of 12, 000 tons.
The company is located Meishan, the hometown of the three famous ancient poets, namely Su Xun, Sushi and Su Che., in Sichuan Province. Since the 1990s, the company has kept rapid growth. In 1999, we realized a production value of 80 million RMB yuan, fixed assets of 30 million RMB, and current assets of 10 million RMB yuan. We have 121 staff members, including 28 persons with junior college up educational background, 16 engineers or managers, among whom, three have intermediate- or senior technical titles, and 13 with junior ones.
