In 2011, Vilof aims to build the global market-oriented inulin industrial chain with the most advanced technologies including: The breeding of high-yielding chicory and topinambur varieties, scale cultivation of chicory in the mode of "planting base+ professional cooperatives+farmers", year-round production of Belgian Endive and inulin sourced prebiotics and soluble dietary fiber.

We run a GAP level planting base of over 16, 000 mu on the Bashang Grassland which locates at 40° N latitude. Besides, we have established in the Fengning Industrial Park a inulin and polyfructose production line of 208 mu and with a first stage investment of 150 million RMB, which is the largest in Asia in terms of the processing capacity. Being the only company in China to own the core technologies of inulin and polyfructose production and with our outstanding product quality and international management, we were chosen as the exclusive Belgian Endive supplier for the 2008 Olympic games and especially awarded by the OCOG.

Based on our first mover advantage of scientific research strength and technological achievements of our cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Peking Union Medical College, China Agriculture University, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, we have established the technology Research Center of chicory engineering.
