Chyun Yih Tape Co., Ltd. (Shark Tape) was started in Oct. 1979 at Tamsui where is a small town near Taipei and was focus on producing OPP packaging tape at the beginning. After 12 years in 1991, to satisfy the increasing need of the specialized tapes from our customers, we moved and rebuilt a new modern factory at Taoyuan Kuan Yin Industrial Center.

The new plant and modern process performs automatically in coating, slitting, rewinding, cutting and packaging, with the advantage, we started producing a wide range of tapes from common and ordinary one, like OPP Packing Tapes, Stationary Tape, Kraft Paper Tapes and PVC tapes to a very high quality grade like Cloth Tapes, Foam Tape, Margin Tapes, Masking Tapes, Plating & Spray painting Tapes for PCB Industry, Silcome Adhesive Polyimide Tapes, Polyester Tapes, PE Protection Tape, PET Protection Tape and recently we started providing Cover Tapes for SMT&SMD and Top/Bottom Tape for MLCC to our buyers.

1979 Founded in Danshui, Chyun Yih initiated the manufacture and sale of all kinds of tape
1991 The new factory was established in Taoyuan County, Taiwan Guanyin Industrial Park
1993 With the government starting to support investment in mainland China, we established first factory in mainland China Putian City, Fujian Province.
1997 Investment in factories in mainland China, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province
1998 Investment in factories in mainland China, Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, and received ISO9002 certification
2000 Successful development of MLCC (chip resistors, chip capacitors, chip inductors) sealing with upper and lower cover tape.
2001 Commenced producing SMT, SMD package with a heat-seal the cover band.
2002 Commenced producing SMT, SMD package with self-adhesive cover tape T50 series.
2004 To expand the business, headquarter moved to New Taipei City, Danshui Town, Dengfeng Aetna Building.
2005 Commenced developing various types applied in EMI of double-sided adhesive, release film, protective film.
2007 Founded in mainland China Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, " TAICANG C-TECH ELECTRIC MATERIAL Co., Ltd "
2008 The fifth production line expansion established in TAICANG C-TECH ELECTRIC MATERIAL
2012 Class 10, 000 Clean Room established in TAICANG C-TECH ELECTRIC MATERIAL
2013 Development of Photoelectric industry with optical grade PET protective film HCT series
