Utahloy International School, Guangzhou was approved by the Ministry of Education, Beijing China on 14 July 1998 (Number 1998-68). The School offers an international education for expatriate children residing in Guangzhou.

Utahloy International School is owned by Utahloy Management (Hong Kong). The school is fully self-managing.

The mission of Utahloy International School is to run an efficient and effective school, providing a high standard of international education for children from 2 to eventually 16 years of age. The school commenced with 50 children in Kindergarten and primary classes, and in less than five years has grown to 480 students and now includes a Middle School.

The school is a not for profit school. The school teaches in English but has daily Putonghua lessons for all of its students. The school adapted English and Australian curricula to make its own, unique International curricula for Primary and Kindergarten classes.

For its Middle School students, the school is an authorised International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program provider.
