TBEA Shandong Luneng Taishan Cable Co., Ltd., which locates at the foot of Mountain Tai is well known as one of the biggest electric wire and cable companies in China. It owns a national enterprise technology center and the biggest XLPE cable test hall in the same industry of China. We can produce and test 400 types with 20, 000 specifications in 4 categories of wires and cables which are bare conductors, 1~500kV power cables, wires and cables for electrical equipment and special cables.

Up to now, our company has LED the development of EHV cable in China. The 110kV XLPE cable was the first in China to be certified in 1996 by "Two Ministry" which are National Machinery Industry Ministry and National Electric Power Ministry; The 220kV XLPE cable was the first to be put into use in State Grid Corporation of China in 1998; 500kV XLPE cable was the first in China to pass the type test carried out by China National Centre for Quality Supervision and Test of Electric Wire and Cable in 2005; The 220kV smart thermometric cable with optical fiber was the first to be successfully developed in China and put into operation in large quantities in 2008.

Furthermore, our company has the ability to produce 750~1000kV diameter extension conductor and generatrix which are the highest voltage overhead conductors in China, and we are the unique supplier for the first domestic UHV demonstration line. Our company has contributed its efforts to national key projects such as Tian'anmen Square Reconstruction Project, Beijing International Airport, 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Three Gorges and Yellow River Hydraulic Engineering Constructions, Qinghai-Tibet Railways project, etc. Meanwhile, the company's products have been exported to more than 40 countries and areas such as Australia, Netherlands, Peru, Brazil, Russia, Yemen, India, Vietnam, Singapore etc.

From last year, 1.5 billion was invested to our company to build TBEA East-China Transmission & Transformation Sci-Tech Industrial Park with covering area of 600, 000m2, in which the newly-built buildings' area is 260, 000m2. The VCV production line tower with the altitude of 170 meters for HV power cable production built in the new industrial park is the highest in China and the equipments for VCV line are all imported from abroad: There 6 production lines will be in the tower which are one 750kV production line of Troester, two 500kV Production lines of Maillefer. The project will be put into operation in the middle of 2011. After completion, sales income of 5 billion and profit tax of 500 million can be achieved.
