Shaan'xi Aero-Engine Equipment Ltd. (XAE), established in 1958, is one of the largest aero-engine manufacturing enterprises in China. It has more than 20000 employees, out of which, over 3400 are engineers and technicians.

The corporation is well equipped with more than 5000 sets of facilities for cold and hot working, measurement and testing activities including over 1000 sets of the latest state of the art facilities of wide varieties in the recent years. The Corporation has imported a considerable number of N/C machines apparatus, and equipment which enable the Corporation to fully meet the requirements of precision casting forging, heat and surface treatment tightly tolerance machining and tooling making as well as the technical requirements for various inspection, metrological measurements, metallurgical, physical and chemical tests. All this has accelerated the research and development and production activities at XAE.
