SUZURAN was established in Nagoya, Japan in 1833 as a manufacturer of Cotton Bedding. In 1935 the company entered the field of medical supplies and started the production of absorbent cotton for medical use. The company renamed itself as Suzuran Sanitary Goods Co., Ltd in 1968, and in the coming years the company expanded its product range to include various disposable medical products as well as cosmetic supplies.

With over 180 years of experience developing cotton products under strict quality control, today Suzuran is one of the leading supplier of medical absorbent cotton, medical gauze and bandage, cosmetic pure cotton pads, alcohol disinfection wipes, face masks, pure cotton gauze underwear and towel for infants and other personal care products in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries with offices and factories in Japan, China, Vietnam and Indonesia.

About the Company

Established in 1990 in Shanghai, China and under Japanese management, Shanghai Linglan Sanitary Goods Co., Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzuran Japan. According to Japanese and International Standards the company produces medical absorbent cotton, medical gauze and bandage, cosmetic pure cotton pads, alcohol cotton wipes, face masks, pure cotton gauze underwear and towel for infants and other personal care products, with leading market share in Japan, China, Korea and many SEA countries.

The manufacturing facility of the company have passed on-site inspections by Japanese medical authority for Medical Device certification, and TUV for BSCI and ISO13485 certification. The company also is a long-time holder of Oeko-Tex certification after passing on-site inspections and product tests by International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology, Switzerland.
