Founded in 2003, Nine Continent Company (hereinafter referred to as NCC) has set up three major production bases in China. NCC's rapid and stable development enables it to become a leading manufacturer of water treatment chemicals in China, with a turnover of RMB260 million in 2014 in domestic market. The product families include organic phosphonic series, organic phosphate salts, polycarboxylic antiscalant, corrosion inhibitors, chelating agents, dispersants, biocide, algicide and etc., covering wide ranges from single to complex agents. The products are widely used in circulating water system, boiler and heating water system in fields such as steel & iron, petrochemical, power plant, RO systems, textiles and medical industries.
NCC owns a 1500-square-meter nanotechnology R&D center located in the BioBay of Suzhou Industrial Park, equipped with such technical laboratories as R&D laboratories, application laboratories, coating room, constant temperature and humidity room, printing room, electron microscopy room and etc. The R&D center is also equipped with more than 50 instruments including R&D instruments, wet-end instruments, coating instruments, printing instruments, physical property detecting instruments, particle size instruments and electron microscopy instruments, with a total value of RMB8 million. NCC's R&D has come up to the same international advanced level as laboratories of some leading chemical companies as BASF, Ashland and Akzo Nobel.
