Established in 2007 and with its testing history dating back to 1958, Shanghai Jianke Technical Assessment of Construction Co., Ltd, a subsidiary which is affiliated to Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences(Group) Co., Ltd. (SRIBS), is the first third-party testing organization with the largest scale engaged in construction engineering in Shanghai.

Presently, the company is entrusted by SRIBS to manage National Center for Quality Supervision & Test of Building Engineering Materials and Shanghai Station for Quality Supervision & Test of Building Materials & Components. Besides, it has two wholly-owned subsidiaries. With its business throughout all provinces and cities in east China, the company has set up nearly 20 laboratories, covering an area of approximately 30, 000m2; Meanwhile, it has obtained 28 professional qualifications and nationally recognized qualifications.

The company possesses the capability of performing more than 3, 400 different testing parameters to cover over 2, 700 standards and testing regulations and can conduct tests according to the relevant external standards such as the standards of the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Japan and Australia. At present, the number of employees in the company has exceeded 400, including more than 80 high-end talents with senior professional titles and doctoral or master's degrees. The number of employees with middle and senior professional titles accounts for nearly 60% of the total staff.
