SAIC-Iveco HONGYAN Commercial Vehicles Co., Ltd (hereafter referrs to as "SIH") is a joint-venture enterprise invested by famous automotive giant SAIC MOTOR, Iveco and CME (Chongqing Machinery and Electronics Holding (Group) Co., Ltd). On September 18th, 2006, under the witness of premiers of China and Italy, SAIC-Iveco Commercial Vehicles Investment Co., Ltd and CME signed the Cooperation Agreement; On June 15th 2007, SIH was established formally with 1.9 billion Yuan registration capital. SIH has two manufacturing sites. One is for CBU production with annual 80, 000 units' capacities, and the other one is for key components production like axle and steering gears.
