Jiangsu Valin-Xigang Special Steel Co., Ltd (Valin-Xigang for short) is incorporated and reassembled by former Jiansu Xigang Group, which is one of the 18 key special steel manufacturers in China. And now Valin-Xigang is affiliated to Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd, which locates in Jingjiang city on the shore of the Yangtze River.

The relocation program of Valin-Xigang insisted high start point, high potential and focused on upgrading of equipments, updating of technology, quality of products. For this reason, Valin-Xigang learned the advanced technologies in the field of special steel and imported the lasted equipments around the world. The program invested more than 4 billion RMB in total to build one steelmaking continuous casting line, two seamless steel tube & pipe lines and one alloy steel bar line. The key technologies and equipments of EAF steelmaking works are imported from Danieli Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd and already made a successful trail production in November, 2010; The key technology and control device of Φ 258PQF are imported from SMS-MEER and also has already put into operation in the first quarter in 2011.

There are two series products in Valin-Xigang. One is seamless steel pipes and the other is alloy steel bar. The product spectrum of seamless steel pipes and tubes covers tubing and casting, drill pipe body, line pipe, seamless steel tubes and pipes for high-pressure boiler, seamless steel tubes and pipes for medium pressure boiler, seamless steel tube for gas cylinder, hot-rolled seamless steel tube for hydraulic pillar service, seamless steel pipe for structures, military pipe, seamless steel pipe for fluid transport and other high alloy steel pipe. The dimension of seamless steel pipes is 32-273.1mm for external diameter, 4.1-40mm for wall thickness, 4.877-14.63m for length. The scope of alloy steel bar consists of bearing steel, tube blank steel, gear steel, stainless steel, tool and die steel, structural alloy steel, quality carbon steel, spring steel, anchor chain steel and many other high value-added, top grade special steel bar and high-grade seamless steel tube billet. The dimension of alloy steel bar is 45-150mm for diameter.
