Tianshui Chenguang Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., established in June 2003, is a joint-stock chemical enterprise. With 10 million registered capital, 3200 square meters'coverage area, 4 production lines and 55 million design investment, Chenguang has the production capability of 1500 tons of photoinitiators and pharmaceutical intermediat annually.

Photoinitiators are mainly used in electronics, printing, ink, dope, painting and other similar industry. They can quickly cure by absorbing ultraviolet light and control the curing-time according to the different wave length of absorbed ultraviolet, which usually ranges from 200nm to 470nm. Because of no pollution, it is a vital developing stage of the environmental protection for chemical engineering, and it has wide applying range. For example, during the production line of mass automobiles, photoinitiators are added when spraying paint, that is to say, adding ultraviolet irradiator after the spray-paint stage, then they'll completely solidify within 5 seconds without roasting. It has high adhesive and bright reflect, which has been widely used all over the world. The apparent coatings on our common cell phones are all making use of photoinitiators in order to finalize in a short time. They are also used in other high adherence and high bright procedures.

At present, the technological projects we have already declared are water-solubility photoinitiators and SBQ sensitizer powder. Water-solubility photoinitiators are principally used in intermediates of cosmetics of laser glass vacuum combination and other products. The chief feature of SBQ sensitizer powder is the combined raw material for the production of waterborne photosensitive coating, which are primarily applied in silk printing sensitizer production. It surpasses the dual share diazonium powder, and has strong stability when it is not exposed to light. It has no any dark reaction, but higher photosensitivity and wonderful thermostability. Being the first manufacturer of theses two products in China, we obtained the support from province government, and the special fund, and we proceeded the project successfully. 10 million yuan has been put into research and trial production from 2004 to 2007. Right now, ITX, DETX, CPTX, CTX, TPO, PI-184, PI-907, SBQ sensitizer powder and all kinds of water-solubility photoinitiators have been put into production.
