MUHU, one of the major manufacturers of concrete admixtures in China, was established in 1988, in Huairou, Beijing. It is specialized in concrete admixtures' research, manufacturing, and distribution. The company has four manufacturing locations in China and is one of the key businesses in China exporting concrete superplasticizers. MUHU produces over 70 products, including high range water reducer, set accelerators, set retarders, anti-freezing products, etc. These products are widely used in industrial and civil engineering, public infrastructure, hydroelectric engineering, and concrete ready-mix products. In addition, the company produces coatings, glues and water-proofing materials as well. MUHU products have been used in many national projects.

MUHU is the member of China National Concrete Admixtures Association, China National Coatings Industry Association, and China National Adhesives Industry Association. In 2004, the company built the "MUHU Industrial Park" in He-Fang-Kou. To launch the international business, the company made a strategic change and structured the leadership in 2008. MUHU set up the sister business MUHU China Construction Materials Co., Ltd, and two production center in Zibo and Qinhuangdao.

In addition, MUHU provides professional services of technology know-how transfer of concrete admixtures, including process design, manufacturing, application, and management expertise.

In 2012, we've developed a new technical cooperation project to help partner set up a localized production line of new generation of polycarboxylate superplasticizer. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer, with features like high water reducing rate, good workability, improved slump retention, PRO-environment etc have shown trend to dominate superplasticizer market. It can be widely applied in precast concrete and ready mix concrete. The new production system introduces advanced design of heatless production that integrates synthesis reaction with compounding. Local production line of Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer not only reduces transport charges, but also helps promote local concrete admixture market with good quality product and competitive price.

We only do production collaboration on this project instead of know-how transfer. That is, we provide equipment and raw materials which is one of our strong points. Of course we provide basic design and training too. To have successful collaboration, we prefer a customer with strong concrete admixture formulating knowledge and skills because this will help us get a better understanding of the customers' requirements so as to provide better technical support.
