Founded in 1958, Ningbo Dahongying Pharmaceutical CO., LTD. (DHY Pharm) is a comprehensive pharmaceutical manufacturer with business scope ranging from chemical raw materials to pharmaceutical products. It has serviced both the local and overseas markets for almost half a century.

DHY Pharm owes its origin to a reorganisation of the Ningbo Medicine Holdings Group, by which two subsidiaries, namely Ningbo Pharmaceutical Factory and Ningbo No. 2 Pharmaceutical Factory, were merged and reformed.

In 2004, DOS International Investment and Consultant Company Limited, an international investment group, acquired majority stake in the company, thus turning DHY Pharm into a Sino-Foreign Joint-Venture. In addition to capital investments, the former introduced to DHY Pharm a most valuable international advanced management system, facilitating and enhancing the growth of DHY Pharm into a pharmaceutical manufacturing company of world standard. DHY Pharm has earned the trust of multinational pharmaceutical giants and is now doing contract manufacturing for a number of world famous names.

DHY Pharm has its own research and development departments, while the manufacturing unit produces for global sales and marketing the following lines of products: chemical and pharmaceutical preparatories, medical intermediaries, natural medicine, Chinese medicine and conventional Chinese medicine, health products, food supplements, and skin protection products. Development strategy of DHY Pharm is to make best use of high and new technology for effective and timely transformation of the company's inherent technology to meet demands of today's markets.
