Nanjing Huade Spark Plug Co., Ltd. (NHSP), a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH Germany and Nanjing Electro Ceramic Factory (now named as Nanjing LD (Group) Company), engaged in the manufacturing and sales of spark plugs. The company officially opened on April 2,1996. The total investment of NHSP is US$34.68 million, registered capital of US$25.05 million, of which 51% equity shares held by Bosch and 49% held by LD Group.

Nanjing Electro Ceramic Factory, the cradle of China first spark plug, is well known for its products branded as LD both at homeland and abroad. Robert Bosch GmbH, the biggest manufacture in Europe, invented the first spark plug in the world and has been in successful operations as the world leader in many different fields.

The establishment of NHSP pushed the improvement of technology level for spark plug manufacture in China strongly. The mature manufacturing technology transferred from Bosch greatly upgrade NHSP's manufacturing technology thus to keep in line with the international advanced standard.

The rounded advanced administration system has been formed in NHSP. We adopt the MRP II computer system to manage the contract appraisement, contract collection, purchase of raw material, rolling production plan, new product development, quality control on production processes, storage control, information feedback from market and customers service. And we passed the certification of ISO 9001 in Jun.1998 & VDA6.1 in Nov. 2001.

NHSP products are always the first choice of OE customers for their new engine. The market share at OEM is kept at 70%. Moreover, the worldwide sales network of Bosch provided the advantage to NHSP's products to enter into the international market.
