Shandong Nanshan Light Alloy Co., Ltd is comprehensive high-precision aluminium and aluminium alloy plate, strip and foil processing enterprise invested and established by Nanshan Group Corporation. Taking the production process of internationally advanced and well-proven 1+4 hot rolling tandem mill and high speed cold-rolling, the products mainly involve the fields of architecture, package, electronic, printing, refrigeration, beverage, pharmacy, tobacco, automobile and household appliances etc. The main products include can stock, PS sheet, curtain wall sheet, micron foil, slab, aluminium alloy hot rolling coil, decoration plate, electronic foil, pharmaceutical foil, cable foil, etc.
In July of 2001 the company was prepared to construct, and in July of 2003 it was broke ground. In April of 2005, foil plant has been put into production on May 17th of 2005; In August of 2005, the casting plant will be put into production; The hot and cold rolling plants will totally be finished constructing at the end of 2005.

The whole company includes 110KV transformer substation, casting plant, hot rolling plant, cold rolling plant, foil plant, central laboratory and mechanical & electrical maintenance workshop.

The main equipment arrangement includes aluminium and aluminium alloy slab melting & melting line-this line adopts furnaces 75t round melting furnaces and rectangular tilting type holding furnaces, metal in-line treatment equipment and DC semi-continuous casting machines, furthermore, the melting furnaces are equipped with internationally advanced melt stirring technology-electromagnetic stirring system. The maximum unit weight of slab reaches 34 tons, the heaviest one in the world.

Nanshan Light Alloy Co., Ltd imported 2350mm 1+4 hot rolling tandem mill line from Japan, pusher type heating furnaces from Austria, and two sets of 2300mm 6-hi CVC cold rolling mills from Germany. The rolling speed of the two sets of cold rolling mills is 1500 m/min and 1800m/min respectively; The maximum unit weight of coil reaches 30 tons. At the same time, the auxiliary finishing lines of the first-class level in the world are also arranged. Nanshan Light Alloy Co., Ltd also imported 4 sets of 2000mm aluminium foil rolling mill lines, which are 4-hi non-reversing high-speed foil rolling mills, the thinnest product is only 0.0055mm thick.

The production capacity of Nanshan Light Alloy Co., Ltd is 250, 000 t/a in the first stage; The total production capacity will reach 650, 000 t/a after finishing the second stage.
