Tianjin Dongda Chemical Group Co., Ltd was built in March 2, 1998. Our company is 14 years old and covers 100, 000 square meters (150 acres) with staff of 400 people. Fugui Zhao is the chairman of the company.

Benzoic acid and sodium benzoate are our mainly products. Benzoic acid specification includes industry-specific, food, feed and pharmaceutical grade. And sodium benzoate divides into powder granular and column.

Our output is full enough: Industrial benzoic acid is 80000 tons/year, food and feed grade benzoic acid are 5000 tons/year and medical class benzoic acid is also 5000 tons /year. Come up with sodium benzoate, powder is 40000 tons/year, column is 100000 tons/year, and granular is 15000 tons/year. Benzoic acid with melting method is 6000 tons/year, benzyl benzoate is 5000 tons/year. 166000 tons of products for the total amount, the annual production value amount to 15 hundred million, and the production scale is ranking at head of Asia and second of the world.

The products of benzoic acid have been automatic controled by DCS system totally, and sodium benzoate workshop has accomplished automatic enclosed production entirely.

The company has cooperated with the University of Science and Technology researching and developing benzoic acid polyols and lipid products without chlorobenzene formaldehyde, benzene armour nitriles and benzoyl chloride, benzyl alcohol etc series products. Putting toluene oxidation as a basic point, we make up the benzoic acid up and down stream industrial chain gradually.

At present, 80% of products in our company are exported and our products are extended various regions around the world. Especially, our company is the stable supplier of raw material for Nestle, Danone and Coca-cola company etc. The Dutch HCI company which is the biggest chemical distributor around the world is also our company's customer.

Granular sodium benzoate which is our patent product was named after national key new product and listed in the country's new products catalogue in 2007. Our company set up the "Food Additives Research Center" with University of Science and Technology and has obtained lots of scientific research achievements.
