MUHU, one of the major manufacturers of concrete admixtures in China, was established in 1988, in Huairou, Beijing. It is specialized in concrete admixtures' research, manufacturing, and distribution. The company has four manufacturing locations in China and is one of the key businesses in China exporting concrete superplasticizers. MUHU produces over 70 products, including high range water reducers, set accelerators, set retarders, anti-freezing products, etc. These products are widely used in industrial and civil engineering, public infrastructure, hydroelectric engineering, and concrete ready-mix products. In addition, the company produces coatings, glues and water-proofing materials as well. MUHU products have been used in many national projects.

To launch the international business, the company made a strategic change and restructured the leadership in 2008. MUHU set up the sister businesses MUHU China Construction Materials Co. Ltd., MUHU Middle East, and two production centers in Zibo and Qinhuangdao.
