We use the same active ingredient, DEET, as the manufacturers of other insect repellents that do work well. But our proprietry component stops the DEET from sweating, rinsing or rubbing off. So the repellent keeps working and does not run into eyes causing pain and irritation.

It doesn't smell bad or feel sticky.

We now sell the product to 26 countries with distributors in New Zealand and South Africa as well as our head office in Australia.

Now that China has joined the WTO and strengthened its intellectual property laws, we are doing a feasibility study of manufacturing in China and also looking at the viability of finding a Chinese JV partner to manufacture and sell the product on the Chinese market.

The finished Bushman biting insect Repellent, if manufactured in China, would be a little more expensive than the products now available in China but about 10 times more effective and much more pleasant to use.

It could save many babies and other people from catching diseases carried by insects such as mosquitos. Of course it also stops the pain and itchiness that comes from many insect bites.
