Beijing National Innovation Institute of Lightweight Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CAMTC) is the construction supporting unit of national lightweight materials and forming technology and equipment innovation center. It was independently registered in Huairou Science City, Beijing Science and technology innovation center in 2017, and its predecessor is the advanced manufacturing technology research center of China Machinery Science Research Institute established in 2006. At present, it is composed of 12 shareholder units, with a registered capital of 256.4351 million yuan.
Based on the major national demand for lightweight materials, forming and manufacturing processes and equipment, the CAMTC has carried out research on key generic technologies such as lightweight material production and preparation technology, component forming and manufacturing process, digital forming equipment / production line, and achievements transformation.
The Institute of materials engineering technology, equipment manufacturing technology, light alloy forming business division, textile dyeing and finishing equipment business division, Dezhou Branch, Yantai Branch, Weifang Branch are set up under the CAMTC, with the national light weight material forming technology and equipment innovation center, National Key Laboratory of advanced forming technology and equipment, and national technology transfer demonstration institutions, national international science and technology cooperation bases, innovation bases and institutions such as "precision plastic forming technology and equipment innovation capability platform" of Ministry of industry and information technology.
The development strategy is to gather international high-end talents, establish an integrated innovation ecosystem of lightweight materials, forming process and equipment design, R & D, test, detection and pilot test, and become a world-class lightweight materials forming technology and equipment innovation organization.
