My name is Juan Carlos Abad; I am the Managing Partner and founder of Shanghai High-Tech Co., Ltd. a company formally incorporated in Shanghai, China. I work as independent business consultant based on my three decades of experience mainly in R&D that range from field engineer to hardware and software developer and architect to local and international Project Manager, Manager of Project Managers, R&D Section and Department Manager.

It is specially my deep first-hand technical experience acquired during three decades working worldwide for two European MNC developing and bringing to the market state-of-the-art high-tech products including safety, reliability and quality certifications that qualify me to service you as your sourcing expert for high-tech industrial and/or commercial equipment and machinery.

I hold a (Bachelor &) Master Degree in Electronics (ESPE-Ecuador), another as Master in Computer Science (SUPSI-Switzerland) and a Global Executive MBA (CEIBS - Asia/Europe/USA). The world-renowed China-Europe International Business School counts with 20'000+ high-caliber Alumni which make part of my extended professional network in China and worldwide.

Additionally to my business activities as indendent consultant I also have lectured Managerial and Engineering subjects (e.g. Industrial and Project Management, Control Systems Design and Analysis & Process Control) in an Engineering College in Shanghai-China, something that allowed me to stay up-to-date with the technology and to futher develop my professional and resourceful network.
