Shang Lin Bio-resources Development Corporation Ltd., was established by the Longdu Group and the Great Wall Tea Trade Corporation Ltd in hongya in August 2007. With a floor area of 21 acres (equal to 126 mu in the Chinese measurement) and a registered capital of $17m(RMB), Shang Lin is characterized of planting, producing, researching and trading of tea guided by advanced science and technology.

Based on the introduced tea further processing technology, a second-class wenner of the National Science-Technology Progress Award in 2008, Shang Lin has set up a processing line for an annual tea production of 600 ton. With three production lines for initial, fine and further processing, Shang Lin is achieving an annual production value of $150m(RMB).

Shang Lin is now home for both Sichuan Tea Further Processing Engineering Center and Southwest University's Research Center of Tea Futher Processing. In addition to one production line within the centers, there is another zone of 1000m2 with dozens of advanced machines and eqiupment including GC, GC-MS, HPLC and AAS to perform the research, testing and analysis. These centers will greatly enhance Shang Lin's capacity of conducting sustainable research into intensive processing of tea.
