Established in September, 2003, Xingtai Meishen Chemical Co., Ltd., which grew out of a joint venture established 19 years ago, is mainly engaged in the production of light magnesium oxide and active magnesium oxide. The company has passed the ISO9001-2000 and SGS certifications and was awarded Hebei Province Scientific and Technological Progress Third Prize in 1998 as well as the title of "2004 Top 100 Outstanding Brands of China Chemical Industry". As the general agency of seven domestic large and medium-size enterprises in Tianjin and Hebei province and the Chinese agency of Japanese magnesium oxide product of famous brand "Shen", the company boasts to achieve annual sales turnover of more than 150 million yuan. As the member of China Magnesium Salts Association, Xingtai Meishen Chemical Co., Ltd. is one of the major drafters of 2005 version of Chinese National Standard of Light Magnesium Oxide and 2006 version of Chinese National Standard of Active Magnesium Oxide. Mr. Sunwen, the chairman of the board and general manager of Meishen company, is the permanent director of China Magnesium Salts Association and one of the drafters of national standards.

Meishen is the only factory in China that is qualified to produce light magnesium oxide and active magnesium oxide by all the techniques of dolomite carbonization, brine combination and magnesite ammonium bicarbonate. Meishen owns the national advanced production lines and national experts of magnesium salts industry take charge of technical innovation and revamping of equipments. Nowadays the company has developed a series of products including light magnesium oxide, active magnesium oxide and special magnesium oxide used for the production of adhesive, wire and cable.
