Definition of oxygen absorber

Oxygen absorber was originally called oxygen scavenger; It can absorb oxygen in food container and leaving the container in an anaerobic state, to achieve the goal of maintaining food freshness.

Function of oxygen absorber

Oxygen absorber slows down the oxidation of food by absorbing oxygen in the container. It can effectively restrain growth of mold and aerobic bacteria, prevent food from going moldy, oil and vitamins from oxidation, and guard food against pest, thereby prolonging shelf life. It plays a significant role in the preservation of food.

Method of application

(1) Put food (material) being preserved together with the oxygen absorber into a low oxygen transmission composite packaging bag (composite packaging materials), and heat- seal the packaging;

(2) The oxygen absorber comes in type 20, type 30, type 50, and type 100 according to the amount of oxygen it can absorb, to suit packaging of different volumes;

Caution:

(1) Choose packaging materials with oxygen transmission rate lower than 20ml/m2. ATM. 14h, for example, KOP/PE, KPET/PE and other composite film bags, plastic jars, glass jar and metal cans;

(2) Pay attention to strength and quality of the seal, prevent leaks;

(3) Once product packaging is opened, it would be best to use the product up in 1-2 hours while sealing the material being preserved properly, unused oxygen absorber should be promptly resealed with air squeezed out from the original packaging to maintain effectiveness.

(4) Can not be used in microwave oven not edible.
