International trade is the core business which conforms a number of professional old-line foreign trade companies and newly-built foreign trade enterprises, such as Shanghai Lansheng Corporation - the first publicly listed foreign trade company, Shanghai Medicines & Health Products Import & Export Corporation, Shanghai Light Industrial International Group Corporation, Shanghai Metals & Minerals Import & Export Corporation, Shanghai Animal By-Products Group Corporation and Shanghai Packaging Import & Export Corporation, etc.

The products they exported cover the whole light industry, including such famous brands. Most products are exported to 168 countries and regions, for example, USA, Europe, Japan, etc. In 2003, Lansheng Group ranked the 49th among those enterprises who possess the biggest number of import and export volume. In 2004, the total import and export volume is more than 150 million USD. Modern logistics is a developing business in the group.

The two holding companies, Shanghai Jinjiang Shipment Corporation and Shanghai Lansheng International Transportation Co., Ltd. have correspondingly complete transportation capability at sea and overland as well as some other logistic equipments like container. They can offer international trade comprehensive and systemic service. Real estate and other estate are the sustaining business in the group. Lansheng Hotel, Lansheng Building and other financial and bio-pharmaceutical estate invested by Lansheng Group provides support for the group's development.
