Yan'an Zhongbangyuan (ZBY) provides a full range of reciprocating natural gas compressor packages designed for wide operating conditions and field-friendly lifecycle maintenance. By standardizing around two core platforms, ZBY covers capacity from 30, 000 to 2, 500, 000 Nm³ /day (standard conditions) with strong interchangeability and upgrade flexibility.

1) Two Platforms Cover Ultra-Wide Capacity Range (3× 10000 to 250× 10000 Nm³ /day)

Small Platform: 2D10 standardized platform

Wellhead gas recovery / booster applications, configured for multiple schemes to cover low-to-MID capacities (typical range up to ~12× 10000 Nm³ /day depending on configuration).

Large Platform: D / M / 6M standardized platform

Large gas gathering station booster series with scalable cylinder count and motor power, supporting capacities up to ~243× 10000 Nm³ /day (≈ 2.43 million Nm³ /day).

Result: Two platforms collectively cover ~3× 10000 to ~250× 10000 Nm³ /day, enabling one product family to address a broad spectrum of field conditions and project sizes.

2) Full-Condition Adaptability (Wide Inlet Pressure + Flexible Control)

ZBY compressor selection and performance calculations are designed to satisfy full operating conditions across customer scenarios, with inlet pressure coverage up to 0.5-6.5 MPaG (by series). When inlet pressure exceeds 2.5 MPa, the first-stage cylinder can automatically switch to single-acting (shaft-end) mode, ensuring safe and efficient operation across a wide pressure band.

For flow and capacity control, multiple methods are supported-such as unloaders, adjustable clearance pockets, variable-frequency speed control (VFD), and recycle/bypass regulation-allowing the package to be tuned to changing production profiles.

3) High Parts Commonality Within Each Platform (Lower Inventory & Faster Service)

A key design principle is platform-level standardization:

Up to ~80% common spare parts across models within the same platform, enabling centralized procurement and simplified inventory management.

For the large platform (D/M/6M), capacity can be changed by switching cylinder quantity and motor power without replacing the base frame; Connecting rods, crossheads and other key components are largely shared, making upgrades and retrofits easier.

For the 2D10 platform, base components and wear parts are standardized, and installation dimensions are consistent, improving field maintainability and reducing lifecycle cost.

Result: Under the same platform, customers gain parts interchangeability, lower spare-part stock, faster maintenance, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
