The DTW Group is headquartered in Beijing and currently operates 33 integrated logistics distribution centers, 23 international freight forwarding stations, 7 bonded warehouses, 114 network hubs. Through this network DTW Group is present in all major cities and economic regions in China where it can provide outstanding services for domestic transportation, international freight forwarding, warehousing and contract logistics services.
In 2007, after the acquisition by FedEx of the domestic courier network of DTW, DTW Group drafted "6-year 3 steps" development strategy aimed at DTW becoming a world class China based integrated logistics solution provider to lead the development of modern logistics practices in China.
As part of this new strategy the DTW Group is developing an IT platform that will enable the provision of modern logistics services including customs brokerage, commodity inspection, carrier booking, EDI with international logistics partners and carriers. This new IT platform will enable the DTW Group to provide track and trace and event management in its transportation and freight operations.
In May 2008, given its 16 years experience in the logistics and solid financial strength, DTW Group decided to establish a China domestic transportation division and invested RMB 400, 000, 000 in the first stage to create a China-wide road transportation network. DTW is developing standard LTL transportation services. DTW provides "3 service guarantees at 3 levels". The service guarantees are; Security, on-time delivery, quick and painless settlement of claims. The 3 levels are; High-quality, high-tech and high value-added. DTW will continuously upgrade its IT IT systems (automated scanning entry system, the whole tracking system and short message systems etc. ), improve operations process and management system in order to build a very efficient China-wide transportation network. DTW provides standard LTL services and door-to-door value-added services, to meet all customer needs.
