The lignin used to make our polyester dye dispersants is from sustainable, renewable sources- corncob. Our lignin-based dispersants are the result of years of development by technical personnel from SQ who have assembled a R&D team that have expertise in textile chemistry and an array of laboratory-testing equipment used to evaluate dye dispersants. As an example, a key device that is used in development is SQ's laboratory package-dyeing instrument. This laboratory device closely simulates commercial packaging-dyeing manufacturing equipment, allowing our scientists to "have the same eyes" as our customers.

Our flagship product - SQLS- has a low level of sulfonationand targets packaging dyeing operations requiring elevated temperature stability. SQLS meets or exceeds performance of any foreign-based product. Other sister series of products have different characteristics which can meet multiple needs of dyes.
