Hunan xiang Ceramics Science&Art Co., Ltd. is an industrial ceramics manufacture with long history. Its predecessor can trace back to the official Hunan Ceramics school and Hunan Ceramics company, which were created by Xiong Xiling, a senior of the profession in Liling at late Qing dynasty. After the founding of people's Republic of China, the ceramic industry was vigorously developed. In September 1955, based on Xiong's founding, Hunan Ceramic Research Institute was established. It was a provincial scientific research institute integrating scientific and production and it contributed a lot of the growth of Hunan ceramics industry. In 2000, Hunan xiang Ceramics Science & Art Incorporated Company was established to meet the needs of development in new century. In October 2016, it was converted into a private holding, non-national holding company.

The company is located in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, the largest transportation hub in the south China. This is the place where Beijing -Guangzhou Railways, Zhejiang -Jiangxi Railways, Hunan- Guizhou Railways (Gseries high-speed railway) connected. It also connected to Beijing-Hongk Kong -Maco Highway and Shanghai-Kunming Highway. Xiangjiang River directly connectes the Yangtze River's Water transport Terminal in Chenglingji, Yueyang City. Furthermore, it is just nearly 50 kilometers away from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. The company covers an area of 120000 square meters (72000 square meters for Zhuzhou Tianyu-an and 48000 square meters for Liling area) and now has 300 employees and over 50 R&D technicians engineers. Since 2017, the company has invested more than 30 million yuan on expanding and renovating its facilities. So far it owns the industry-leading production lines for metallized ceramics, with an annual output of 800000 PCS. The company has inherited the technical edge originated from Hunan Ceramics Research Institute and it provides competitive and comprehensive product portfolios to the market. The company has been focusing on underglaze five-colored porcelain, electric vacuum ceramic tubes, metallized products, ceramics for medical device, ceramics for renewable energy, electronic ceramics, Aluminum nitride ceramics, ceramic insulator(shaft)and etc. The advanced, industry-leading electric vacuum ceramic tubes and metallized products adpot six innovative technologies such as isostatic pressing and low-temperature sintering. Two of six innovative technologies are granted invention patents. The company's ceramics for medical device successfully passed the verfication conducted by Philips Germany and the company became China's first enterprise with the production qualification.
