We are diagnostic reagents manufacturer which is specialized mainly in the infectious diseases field. We produce tests for detection of hepatitis viruses, HIV, Syphilis, influenza, tuberculosis and so on. The main markets for our products are 1) blood banks - for screening of blood supply for blood-born pathogens and 2) hospitals, for testing of patients suspected for viral (or other) infections. In China we are very well-known in the blood banking field, Wantai is the top Chinese brand for HIV and hepatitis diagnostics in China, currently we have over 30% market share in this market niche.
The tests we produce are two types, ELISA which is a professional laboratory test that requires equipment to run the test, and rapid tests (POCT) which can be used wiouth designated equipment, e. g at the doctor's office. The POCT is a strip format test, similar principle to the LFA strip
