Nanjing Gold-Thread & Gold-Foil General Factory, founded in 1955, mainly produces gold foil type and vacuum alu film series of products, including gold leaf, silver leaf and copper leaf, aluminum film, polyester metallic yarn, gold cable, metal cloth, symphony cloth, military camouflage material, fire insulation clothing fabric, aluminum insulation sheet and so on.

Gold foil is our national traditional handicraft. Its production process has more than 1, 000 years of history. The forging industry of gold leaf originates in the area around Longtan Town in Qixia District, Nanjing, China. In 2006, the State Council announced the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection projects and Nanjing Forging Techniques of Gold Foil was included in the directory. Nanjing Gold-Thread & Gold-Foil General Factory has been recognized as unique heritage project management property with the heritage protection and development responsibility.

The Dragon and Phoenix Brand gold leaf from Nanjing Gold-Thread & Gold-Foil General Factory is awarded Nanjing Famous Brand, Nanjing Famous Trademark, and Jiangsu Famous Brand. The factory has strong technical and experienced artists in the industry, with annual production capacity of 36 million pieces. In 2011, we exported 11, 300, 000 pieces, with USD7, 900, 000 foreign exchange and RMB128, 000, 000 sales amount. Both of our quality and scale are top in China. The output and quality of many major products come first in China. We hold independent import and export rights and export to Europe, the USA and some Asian countries.

The factory also has obtained ISO9001: 2000 quality management system certification, ISO14001: 2004 environmental management system certification and ISO10012: 2003 measurement management system certification.
