Originally founded in the 1980s, Sunboro is a trading name of Sunboro Technology Group, a continuation from its previous life as Laide Technology Inc. A majority state owned time piece manufacturer which was the early answer of the Quartz Revolution by the Shenzhen Authority. In 1997, the company was privatized by its founding partners and since designed-engineered and produced time pieces and chorographic instruments for the Chinese military service the People's Liberation Army (PLA). In order to satisfy her battle field needs, watches have been specially created with material and technologies which are both reliable and practical without exceeding the acquisition budget. In 2015, our patented and award winning electronic compass watch "Dirxon" has been presented by the Director of Urbanization research school of China Develop Institute to professors from US Naval Academy, US Air Force Academy and the world famous West Point (US Military Academy).
