Chip resistor is an important part of the electronic industry, is a national strategic emerging industry (new generation of information technology industry) circuit design key components. On May 14, 2018, Science and Technology Daily reported that high-end resistor ranked 12th among 35 core technologies needed for China's strategy. On January 15, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the development action plan for basic electronic components from 2021 to 2023.
