Established in 1991, Hangzhou Shuguang Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (SEA) is located in Changle Industrial Zone, northwest of Hangzhou city, 21km away from the West Lake. It covers an area of 50, 000 square meters with 30, 000 square meters in the first-period project. The company has a history of more than 20 years in insulators production. Dedicated, professional and dedicated to the development and production of epoxy insulation products.

SEA's products include: Insulators and switch assembly for 12kV solid RMU, epoxy shielding insulators from 24kV to 40.5 kV, HV insulators and insulator series for switchgear, SF6 inflatable cabinet insulation, high voltage live display device, squirrel-proof column switch baffle, bird nest baffle, etc.,

SEA has totally 46 APG machinhes, in which 20 are made by Shanghai Mei Ke Mech-Electrical Technology & Trading CO. Ltd, and one set of automatically APG mixing system. It also has one production line imported from Germany for one-step gelling & vulcanization molding of pressured liquid silicone rubber. It has pressure gelling equipments by APG process, 2 laser printers, full-shielding testing room and various testing machines such as voltage resistant & partial discharge testing machine, X-ray defectoscope, DSC vitrification temperature tester imported from Germany, high & low temperature test chamber, universal testing machine, viscometer, helium mass spectrometer leak detector, horizontal & vertical burning tester, and voltage-withstand test equipment from 12kV to 126 kV, etc.,

Since the year of 2011 SEA has been focusing on the establishment of insulator & insulator assembly production base for solid RMU. Up to now, several solid RMU insulation solution and project has been in scale production after years development and improvement. In 2017, the company and Shanghai Jingdao and other five companies jointly designed, developed epoxy surface zinc spray solid insulated ring cabinet, the local discharge value in line with the requirements of the State Grid Company. In 2020, the company also developed a standard design customization program to meet the requirements of the isolation of the solid insulation switch, is currently in trial production.

KYN61-40.5kV series of shielding insulation parts is a key scientific and technological project of Zhejiang Electric Power Company. It is a patented product of Ningbo Electric Power Bureau and Hangzhou Shuguang Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., which has passed the Xigao Type Test report and the new product and new technology appraisal organized by Zhejiang Electric Power Industry Bureau.

Approved by ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 24001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018 three standards systems, SEA is the national high-tech enterprises, Hangzhou patent pilot enterprises, China Electrical Industry Association high-voltage switch branch governing unit.
