Gaomi Zhida Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is located in the Blue Economic Zone of the Shandong Peninsula, on the vast and fertile Jiaolai Plain. It is adjacent to the famous tourist city Qingdao in the east and leans against Weifang, the World Kite Capital, in the west. It is 12 kilometers away from the Qingyin Expressway and 15 kilometers away from Gaomi Railway Station. The company was established in 1953 and was formerly known as Gaomi Bicycle Parts Factory. It currently has 300 employees (including 35 engineering and technical personnel), with fixed assets of 80 million yuan. The factory covers an area of 35, 000 square meters and is a designated production factory for bicycle axle products by the First Light Industry Department. The company has successively introduced more than 100 sets of advanced domestic production equipment, among which the large-scale equipment includes CNC presses, hydraulic presses, bending machines, CNC machining centers, high-precision CNC machine tools, fiber laser cutting machines, fiber laser pipe cutting machines, high-pressure sandblasting rooms, electrostatic spraying production lines and other equipment. Its industrial products adopt international standards and the company is a qualified metrology unit. It has successively passed the ISO9001: 2008 Quality Management System Certification, ISO14001: 2004 Environmental Management System Certification and ISO18001: 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification. It has the right to operate self-managed import and export business and has been rated as a municipal and provincial contract-abiding and creditworthy enterprise for twenty consecutive years. It mainly produces two major series and sixteen specifications of electric water heater and microwave oven accessories for Haier Group, with an annual production capacity of 300, 000 sets and 15 million pieces. The bicycle parts mainly produce twelve varieties and sixteen specifications of bicycle middle axles, front axles and rear axles in four major series A, B, C and D, with an annual output of 5 million sets. All products are exported to more than a dozen countries and regions such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, the Middle East and South America, and have won provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress and new products. In 2002, the company began to produce supporting parts for Futian Lovol International Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., including more than 100 kinds of parts such as dust covers, dust-proof covers, water tank guards, grain boxes for backpack machines, driving platforms and stem casings in 26 specifications for wheat, rice and corn harvesting machinery, tractors and excavators. The product quality has been rated as "Excellent Supplier" and "Advanced Unit for New Product Development" by Futian. It also produces more than 100 kinds of parts for wheat machines and corn machines for Shandong CLAAS Jinyi Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. At the same time, it has invested nearly ten million yuan to jointly develop high-value-added products with more than a dozen companies such as Qingdao Foreign Trade, including automotive tow hooks, trailer arms, construction scaffolding, animal drinking troughs and guardrails exported to the United States, and more than 10 specifications of products such as portholes of luxury yachts exported to the UK.
