Tianjin Delta Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. (TJDT) is the earliest civilian-run enterprise group approved by Tianjin Government. TJDT is the Authorized Hi-Tech Enterprise and the Authorized Municipal-Rank Palmary Enterprise. In 1999 Mayor of Tianjin Government awarded DSTG the Prize of Outstanding Contribution for City Development through Science and Technology. The cable products have won lots of prizes, such as State Keystone New Product, High Quality Product of State Electrical Ministry, State New Technology Product Silver Award, State Science Academy Science & Technology Fruit Award and Tianjin Science & Technology Advancement Award. In 1996, the special wire and cable products were given the title of Tianjin Famous Brand Products at the first batch.

The main product of TJDT is special wire & cable that is widely used in the base industry fields such as power, chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, shipping, railway, nuclear power, military industry etc. There are dozens of special cable categories, which are consist of control cable, computer cable, intrinsically safe cable, instrument signal cable, compensation cable, shipboard cable, oil well cable, railway signal cable, nuclear power station cable, communication cable, sensor cable, switchboard cable, self-regular heater cable, power cable, etc. The preceding mentioned cable categories could also be divided into different performance subclasses such as fire-resistant series, flame-retardant series, cross-linked series, high temperature-resistant series, low temperature-resistant series, waterproof series, low smoke and low halogen series, low smoke and halogen free series and radiation-resistant series.
